The Pas & RM Kelsey are Certified Sled Friendly Communities!

As part of SledMB53’s efforts to develop and promote snowmobile tourism in Northern Manitoba, the Sled Friendly Certification program is designed to help communities and businesses attract riders, be positioned to fully service their needs, and provide a safe snowmobiling environment. The Sled Friendly Certification program is offered by the Manitoba Tourism Education Council at no cost for communities and businesses north of the 53rd parallel in Manitoba.

For more information on the Sled Friendly certification program, trip itineraries and to see other communities that are certified visit sledmb53.ca

The Pas CDC acknowledges, respects and has the honour of working on lands in Treaty 5 Territory, a treaty that was first negotiated and entered into in 1875. Treaty 5 Territory is the traditional and ancestral lands for many Indigenous peoples who, prior to contact with Europeans, established and maintained important trade routes, connected with and lived off the land, and thrived in a culture that was celebrated through language, ceremony, tradition and a sustainable livelihood.  We look forward to fostering partnerships and opportunities to learn about the past in efforts to move towards reconciliation and continued collaboration.
